1. Definitions
- Company: Refers to Hammersmith House Clearance.
- Services: The house clearance services provided by the Company.
- Client: Any individual or entity engaging the Company’s Services.
- Agreement: The contract between the Client and the Company outlining the Services and Terms.
2. Scope of Services
Hammersmith House Clearance specializes in comprehensive house clearance services, including but not limited to:
- Removal of unwanted items
- Disposal of waste responsibly
- Recycling and donation of salvageable items
- Clean-up services post-clearance
3. Booking and Confirmation
Clients can book our Services through our designated booking channels. Upon booking, a confirmation will be sent outlining the details of the Services, including date, time, and estimated costs.
3.1 Changes to Booking
If the Client wishes to modify the booking details, they must notify the Company at least 48 hours in advance. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4. Payment Terms
Payment for Services rendered is required as per the terms outlined in the Agreement.
- Pricing: All prices are quoted in GBP and are subject to the prevailing rates at the time of booking.
- Deposit: A deposit may be required to secure the booking.
- Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and cash.
- Late Payments: Late payments may incur additional fees as stipulated in the Agreement.
5. Cancellation Policy
Clients may cancel Services under the following conditions:
- Cancellation made 48 hours prior to the scheduled Services will incur no charges.
- Cancellation made within 24 to 48 hours may result in a 50% charge of the total fee.
- Cancellation made less than 24 hours before Services may result in full chargeable fees.
6. Liability
Hammersmith House Clearance strives to provide exceptional Services. However, the Company is not liable for:
- Damage to items not specified during the initial assessment.
- Items already damaged prior to clearance.
- Unforeseen circumstances beyond the Company’s control, such as extreme weather conditions.
Clients are advised to secure any valuable or fragile items before clearance. The Company will handle all items with care but cannot assume responsibility for pre-existing conditions.
7. Privacy Policy
The Company is committed to protecting the privacy of its Clients. Personal information collected during the booking and provision of Services will be used solely for the purposes of delivering the agreed Services and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Amendments
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
10. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of Nature, war, riot, pandemic, or any other cause beyond its reasonable control.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms and Conditions will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Client and the Company regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
